In the municipality of Alamos (Sonora, Mexico), water is a scarce resource, which is why there is a very special interest in its conservation. The objective of this study was to analyze the perceptions of the inhabitants of seven communities located in the Sierra de Alamos Río-Cuchujaqui Flora and Fauna Protection Area (APFF), in order to estimate the economic value of the water resource and determine its availability. payment.
