Balanced, healthy and functional ecosystem is crucial for life sustenance on the Earth. Interactions with living organisms and climatic factors have their unique significance for sustainable ecosystem functioning. Nature has its own balancing capacity to maintain equilibrium between source–sink mechanisms. Solar radiation is an incomparable source of energy for organism’s development and survival of life on the Earth. In recent Anthropocene age, climate is affected by human activities dominantly at local to global level resulting climate-related anomalies, causing stress at ecological and socioeconomic levels.
