Description
XML (eXtensible Markup Language) provides a toolkit for building content-specific architectures. We have utilized it to structure content for educational purposes and deliver the information in multiple presentation formats. By separating the display definitions of generic elements from those of project-specific ones, we have been able to successfully reuse extant XSLT (eXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformation) templates in the building of three additional educational web sites. In an attempt to extend the system further, we look forward to feedback and would like to invite a roundtable discussion of our solution.
