Application of Problem Based Learning Model Using the Index Card Match To Improve Learning Activities and Results Class X. This study aims to improve the activity and student learning outcomes. Therefore, this study was designed with classroom action research model. Subjects in this study were students of class X 1 MAN 2 Situbondo The action taken is the implementation of Problem Based Learning using Index Card Macht conducted in two cycles. The technique of collecting data through observation sheet activities of every learning and evaluation at the end of each cycle. From research conducted to prove that: 1) an increase in the activity of students in the first cycle and the second cycle. In the first cycle of student activity level of 89.10% and the second cycle of 92.52%, and both are included in the category of very active. 2) an increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle and the second cycle. In the prior action of students who otherwise completed totaling 28 students or 71.79% increased in the first cycle to 31 students or 79.49% and increased again in the second cycle to 36 or 92.31% and otherwise completed in classical because it has exceeded the limit that is 80% complete.
