Immigration is becoming an increasingly important issue worldwide, and research is accumulating from many countries around the globe. However, there have been few studies that examine immigrant youth from an international perspective. The project reported in this book sought to gain understanding of the process of acculturation and the outcomes of this process in a sample of more than 5,000 adolescents from a wide range of immigrant groups residing in 13 countries of settlement. We were interested in three basic questions:
