Description
We reported the fabrication of bismuth-doped copper aluminate nanocomposites (BiCuAl2O4 NCs) via microwave-assisted method for antioxidant and antibacterial performances. As-fabricated material was characterized by electron spectroscopy techniques like X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Raman, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and BET. The structural and chemical state authentication of material was confirmed by XRD, FTIR, EDS, Raman and XPS, while morphology explored by SEM. The surface area and porosity were estimated by BET, and result revealed mesoporous nature of material. The band gap energy of material was estimated by K-M plot. Then, the antioxidant property was obtained by α, α-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH). Ethanolic, methanolic …
