Description
We apply thermochronometry and stable isotopes paleoaltimetry in the central Apennines (Italy), an accretionary wedge undergoing post-orogenic extension and overlying an area of local slab detachment. We integrate our observations with previous geodetic and geological data to relate surface observations to possible geodynamic processes that operate in the central Apennines.
