Description
The next-generation wireless communication systems must address the compensation of in-phase and quadrature phase imbalance (IQI), carrier frequency offset (CFO), and doubly selective channel (DSC) to provide a high quality of service for high mobility users with low-cost radio . None of the existing works consider all these RF impairments under DSC for multi-user scenario. To address this gap, in this paper, we propose an iterative equalization technique to compensate the multi-user interference (MUI) and self inter-carrier interference (S-ICI) induced by the joint effect of transmitter IQI, receiver IQI, CFO and DSC for single carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) and orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) uplink systems.
