Description
In the process of teaching and learning in Islamic Education, fun learning is one of the highlighted teaching methods in the Curriculum Standard of Primary School (KSSR) in order to make the students enjoy and learn in fun environment. The purpose of this study was to examine the student’s attitude, student’s readiness and student’s acceptance of the fun learning approach in the learning process of Islamic Education. This study was conducted using action research and the evaluation of the used of fun learning was using questionnaires to 102 sixth grade students at a national primary school in Seremban District. The descriptive analysis showed that the level of student’s attitude were at high level (M= 32, SD= 5.77) followed by the mean of the acceptance constructs at the medium level (M= 25.61, SD= 3.79) while the student’s level of readiness were at low level (M= 20.05, SD= 3.78). The inferential analysis showed that, the differences between student’s readiness and gender was ignificant. Therefore, this study implies students in developing conducive learning environment in the classroom as well as developing a positive attitude in them.
