(FSOC), einer Anwendung von Antonovskys Modell des individuellen Kohärenzgefühls (SOC) auf die Familie als Kollektiv. Im Anschluss an eine Systematisierung der bisher eingesetzten Operationalisierungsformen wird der aktuelle Forschungsstand zum FSOC anhand von Befunden aus empirischen Studien vorgestellt und unter Berücksichtigung dreier Leitfragen diskutiert: a) Welchen forschungsheuristischen Wert hat ein kollektives familiales Konstrukt wie der FSOC? b) Wie kann der FSOC adäquat gemessen werden? c) Hat er einen Einfluss auf die familiale Stressbewältigung und Entwicklung des individuellen Kohärenzgefühls? Dabei zeichnen sich sowohl methodische Defizite als auch praktische Implikationen des Konzeptes für den Bereich der Familientherapie bzw. -medizin ab. [This overview deals with the family sense of coherence, a collective concept based on Antonovsky`s model of individual sense of coherence. After a systematic ordering of previous methods for gauging the FSOC, the current state of research will be introduced through the results of empirical studies. It will also be considered according to these three main questions: a. What is the heuristic value of a collective familial construct such as FSOC? b. How can it be measured adequately? c. Does it influence the family’s way of coping with stress and the development of the individual sense of coherence? As a result, methodical limitations of the concept and its practical implications in family medicine and therapy become evident.]
