Description
This report is about entrepreneurship education in higher education in England. Entrepreneurship is defined as the process of creating new business activity.
In 1999, all 133 Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) in England funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) were surveyed by telephone, email, fax and mail to obtain information on the extent of entrepreneurship education in English HEIs. The questionnaire consisted of questions relating to the provision of entrepreneurship teaching in the institution as a whole, and questions relating to specific series of classes (courses, modules, or electives) in entrepreneurship.
