Description
In this paper, we have proposed a self-powered wireless wearable health data tracking system based on an inertial rotary electromagnetic energy harvester. The whole system can be divided into three parts. The first part is the charging circuit. The energy harvester, which generate 1.65 V Root Mean Square (RMS) voltage and 32.15 mW power at the frequency of one foot while running (1 Hz), could convert kinetic energy of human motion into electrical energy to charge the Li-ion battery. The second part contains an Arduino Microcontroller Unit (MCU) and two sensors. These two sensors could monitor the temperature and the blood oxygen saturation (which can be used in calculation of heart rate) information of the feet and toes, respectively.
