This report forms part of the Be Proud Tasmania project, and was undertaken to document LGBTIQ experiences of prejudice and discrimination in a Tasmanian context. The results of this study will inform future directions in policy and practice, as well as service delivery. Research-informed policy ensures that the work of the BPT partners is focussed on existing and future needs of LGBTIQ Tasmanians, and provides external agencies and partners with a better understanding and deeper context for the policy and other work they do with LGBTI and other sexualities, sex and gender diverse people.
