The thesis is based on the amalgamation of the hyperknowledge environment and the Continuous Strategy conceptual framework into an executive support system for strategic management. The Continuous Strategy defines and describes the business world metaphorically in terms of capital-related, work-related and people-related business issues, relations and interrelationships. The metaphors are converted by analogy into active computer templates and applications in hyperknowledge environment, and the templates and applications are then used as management research instruments and tools.
