The report is divided into three parts: general theory, slab on the ground, and cellar. Part A (general theory) gives the governing equations, the boundary conditions, and the initial conditions for the thermal process in the ground. Dimensional analysis, superposition technique, and a number of fundamental thermal processes are introduced. The range of temperature influence under the foundation of the building is studied. Finally, the edge approximation is introduced. Part В deals with the heat loss for the slab on the ground, and Part С deals with the cellar case.
