Description
This paper proposes an architecture for controlling and sharing distributed data, based on the techniques of bidirectional transformation (BX). The novel idea of the proposed architecture, called the Dejima architecture, is that BX is not used between peers but used inside each peer. This idea enables each peer to specify what data is shared and control how data is used in terms of BX. This paper also addresses known issues of the proposed architecture when data update is cascadingly propagated, and shows our current approach to resolving the issues.
