Rongchao Jin Page 1 My favorite saying is “two heads are better than one”. Iam waiting for the day when someone will discover human life forms on another planet. The most significant scientific event of the past 150 years was the discovery of the electron. If I could be anyone for a day, I would be the President of the United States so I can experience how tough it is to manage the entire country. My first experiment was to test how a light bulb worked as I was fascinated by luminescence phenomena when I was a child. I still remember the huge electric shock to my body, but it did not kill my curiosity for science. Iadvise my students to find something that you really enjoy doing as your future career. My science “heroes” are Michael Faraday—an experimental genius, and Albert Einstein— a theoretical genius. Both rose from humble beginnings to become the giants of science.
