Future research to advance the evidence base and enhance the existing literature on outcomes related to the deployment and use of VR technology within Latin America, particularly as it relates to violence intervention programming (eg, rehospitalization, reduction of retaliatory violence-related attitudes, beliefs, behaviors, etc.), is needed.
