Description
Multi-stakeholder processes (MSPs), where a set of interdependent stakeholders interact and organize activities to achieve a set of goals and targets collectively, were implemented in agricultural research for development (AR4D) for a few decades. Effective learning from AR4D system interventions with MSPs could significantly benefit from a data gathering protocol for both quantitative and qualitative data as well as data management that contributes to the ongoing processes aiming to achieve development outcomes and impact. It is this need to integrate quantitative and qualitative data and provide evidence about performance factors for MSPs in AR4D interventions that has led to the development of a new approach, Learning System for Agricultural Research for Development (LESARD).
