Therefore E is Archimedean. We say that a q-Banach lattice satisfy the property (P) ff any closed sublattice F c E is the range of a positive and contractive projection on E. We can state the main result of this paper; which gives a joint charaeterisation of Lp (x,/~), 1~ p< 2~ and co (A) among the q-Banach lattices:
