Description
Health and rehabilitation outcomes are not only afected by health care or access to services but by a set of complex and multifarious factors linked to the social determinants of health. These include a range of social, political, economic, environmental, and cultural factors. Additionally, economic variability or instability impacts on the ability of persons with disabilities to achieve better health and rehabilitative outcomes, which in turn impacts negatively on their ability to enter or re-enter education and, ultimately, to transition into livelihood development.
