To set the scene, consider the film Jackie BrownJ During a verbal exchange between two characters, a man, Louis, shoots and kills a woman, Melanie. The two of them are to deliver the proceeds from a cash heist to a third character, Ordell. Ordell is Louis' old time criminal associate and Melanie's boyfriend. The scene begins inside a department store outside a ladies' changing room where the cash is to have been left for them to collect by a fourth party. Melanie and Louis hover nervously outside the ladies' changing room. Feeling impatient, Melanie decides to take charge of the situation by marching into the changing room cubicle to get the cash herself.
