This last chapter, written as a conversation, is reflection – and a refraction – of critical autoethnography as a way in which emerging voices might speak back to disciplinary axioms thereby, perhaps, effecting paradigm change. It is collaboratively written by several of the contributors to the book, and its purpose is to keep going the conversations sparked by the chapters and the conversations sections. Questions posed here include: What rings true? Is your ‘ringing true’ similar to mine? Which metaphor works best for the paradigm boundedness in intercultural education: an echo chamber? A bubble? A hall of mirrors? Or does the light get in? And, if so, (how) can we get beyond what we already (think we) ‘know’? This chapter offers an account of our grappling with such questions.
