Description
In this article the m-banking usage and customer profiles in Finland are examined. The data of this research was collected by means of a questionnaire and indepth interviews. The usage of mobile phones in banking was found to be yet in its infancies. The majority of the m-banking customers seem to be male, over 35 years of age, and married or living in a cohabitating. One of the most significant barriers of m-banking adoption is simply the lack of proper devices. However, security issues were not considered as important as we expected, and as the past literature suggested.
