Description
This article describes the analysis and control of a variable mechanical load that uses a three-phase linear induction motor (TLIM) fed by perovskite solar cells. The TLIM dynamic models of the system under study have been developed. The direct thrust control (DTC) with a proportional-integral-and-derivative (PID) controller is used to control the speed of TLIM. To further manage the mechanical linear speed, magnetic flux, and mechanical thrust of the TLIM, the DTC control strategy is integrated into the space-vector modulation (SVM) three-phase inverter. For the DTC-SVM, the PID output is used as the reference thrust. The parameters of the PID controller are manually tuned in order to maintain the linear speed at the established preset values.
