Wood density (DM) is an important variable for estimates of tree or arboreal-shrub carbon stocks in terrestrial ecosystems. Calculated from sample disks using the sapwood shell and core of the disks using the dry weight as a function of the saturated volume of the part. This study investigated the wood density variation of the two most common shrub species (Curatella americana and Byrsonima crassifolia) from the savannas of Roraima (plowed) in two distinct regions (Ecotone forest-wood, near the headquarters of the municipality of Alto Alegre and central region of the works, in Passarao, 15 km from the municipality of Boa Vista). The DM variations were verified as a function of the two species and of the two different collection sites of 20 individuals sampled.
