This report aims to address two questions: What do we mean by social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) for children and young people (those aged 0–12 years and 13–25 years), and how can we develop indicators of SEWB that flow from clear conceptual understandings of the term? What are the policy and practice implications of analysing and reporting on indicators of SEWB, and how can they be used and compared within and across countries?
