The objectives of this article to evaluate the Indonesian National Education System that has been running for more than 50 years. The methode of this evaluation by comparing the education goals that written in 1945’s constitution with the Indonesian National Education System Law and educational practices. The results of this evaluation there is the inconsitency in politics of education and educational practices that reflectedin the legislative education process, educational funding, professional teacher providing, learning process, education evaluation system and teacher welfare.
