Description
The use of medicines by elderly people is a growing concern in social pharmacy and beyond. There have been several attempts to measure the size of this problem in Lithuania and beyond. However, generally we still are lacking data on associations between use of medications and other health related factors, like quality of life. In this presentation, we investigate association between regular use of medications and quality of life. Data for this study was collected during the European project "Elder abuse: a multinational prevalence study - ABUEL". Participants in this study consisted of randomly selected women and men from the general population living in Kaunas. Data was collected through face-to-face interviews in April to July, 2009.
