Description
The present paper shows the use of the poison equation to choose the cutters in machines from 3 to 5 axes, the poison equation is an equation in partial derivatives, this partial derivative transforms the three-dimensional meshing on face of the piece and tool into directional vectors, afterward the cutting tool follow the direction of the mesh according to the directional vectors generated previously, projecting cutting trajectories and activating the conditions for the selection of the tool and the generation of trajectories, if a collision exists, a tool of different size is selected according to the condition when the cutting tool is moving, the main objective of this research is the use of the Poison equation to do machining up to 5 axes.
