Descripción
The tolerance of the Entomopathogenic Nematode (EPN), Steinernema carpocapsae (POBe strain) to two chemical insecticides (Imidacloprid and Thiomethoxam) and three biopesticides (Neemgold, Spinosad and Agropest Bt.) has been reported for combi'led application und~ r the IPM strategy against forest insect pests Le. white grub and t~ ite species. Infective juveniles (IJs) of S. carpocapsae were exposed to different concentrations raging frorr, 0.05% to 2.00% for 72 hours and data on survival in IJs was recorded. Infectivity of the Surviving IJs was tested in lab against the wax moth larvae. The results showed that IJs of S. carpocapsae were compatible to the pesticides tested even in concentration higher than recommended doses in terms of survival and further infectivity and tr can be used in combination for pest management.
