Descripción
We describe a new species of entomopathogenic nematode, Steinernema dharanaii sp. n.(Nematoda: Steinernematidae) using morphology and molecular data of ITS rDNA. Steinernema dharanaii sp. n. was recovered from soil sampled around teak (Tectona grandis Lf) plantation in central India. Analysis of both molecular and morphological data indicates the new species belonging to'glaseri-group'of Steinernema spp.
