Description
The article focuses on the role attitude toward computer use (ATCU) plays in Technology Acceptance Models (TAM). It states that empirical evidence supports the role of ATCU as a mediator between the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness and with intention to use computers. It comments on a technology acceptance study by Timothy Teo that suggested that even if ATCU is correlated with other model variables it fails to contribute to the overall variance in usage. It talks about the use of a similar method to Teo's research using a larger sample in terms of participants, culture, and age which supports Teo's findings.
