Description
This special issue of Environment and Urbanization draws on the growing body of evidence about climate change impacts and responses in cities, and responds to calls for better documentation of this evidence to support the work of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Over the past decade, a growing body of evidence has demonstrated the ways in which cities will be at the forefront of climate change impacts and need to be at the forefront of responses. The first Environment and Urbanization special issue on Cities and Climate Change was published in 2007.
