Description
To support students in becoming self-organised learners, who can identify, reflect on and improve their skills, we designed a set of learning and collaboration methods that merge Face to Face meetings with communication and interaction practices in a Web 2.0 learning environment. To achieve this goal we facilitate the development of a Knowledge Building Community and provide support for all aspects of the Communities activities. In this paper we describe the methods and skills for facilitating the interactions of the community members, which lead to deeper personal knowledge and to the acquisition of skills needed for self-organisation.
