Description
Phenol can be considered a dangerous pollutant due to its high level of toxicity. Its removal remains a challenge for more significant developments in the field of Chemical Sciences. It is essential/necessary to have sustainable and eco-friendly technology using cheap adsorbent(s) to solve its removal. In rural areas, where small- and medium-sized industries do not have the infrastructure to process their wastewater, red mud (solid waste) had been used as a cheap adsorbent to remove phenol in the batch process. In the age of e-governance, the information related to the safety of the society arising out of the adsorption of phenol from wastewater is important. With this motivation this research work had been carried out. The data for this analysis has been taken from the experiment performed for this study.
