Description
This is the archival record of the second in a series of bi-annual International Conferences on Bond Graph Modeling and Simulation organized and sponsored by the Society for Computer Simulation International.
Comparing the Proceedings of ICBGM'95 with those of ICBGM'93, it can be noticed that there is overlap in the authorship of papers. ICBGM'93 received manuscripts from 104 different authors, whereas ICBGM'95 obtained draft papers from 96 different authors. Many papers were co-authored by the same professors, yet a new generation of students. Of the 55 manuscripts offered originally to ICBGM'95, 44 have at least one author who was also among the authors of manuscripts offered to ICBGM'93. This demonstrates that the community of bond graphers is highly committed to their cause. This is one of the few remaining islands of science, where, at their conferences, everyone pretty much knows everybody else. Consequently, our conferences feel like a family reunion of a big happy family, and, at least as far as your conference organizers are concerned, the two of us look always enthusiastically ahead to meeting the extended family of fellow bond graphers once again at an ICBGM conference.
