This Masters level Project investigates the potential to raise awareness in domestic energy consumption using persuasive technologies [41] that provide visual energy feedback to assist in changing behaviour and attitudes towards energy consumption in the home. The potential to change human behaviour is trialled through the user’s experience of interacting with a persuasive technology in the form of a Facebook application developed for the project.
