2. Method
Participants in the active group reported a significantly greater reduction in monthly migraine days at month 3 vs. baseline compared to the placebo group (p=. 019). Active-arm participants also reported using fewer rescue medications throughout study (p=. 038) and had lower monthly pain scores (p=. 044). Few adverse side effects were reported and there were no observed changes in mood/cognition or balance function. Treatment compliance in both groups> 86%.
