School Psychology Review is the flagship scholarly journal of the largest professional organization of school psychologists in the world, the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). NASP’s mission is to advance effective practices to improve students’ learning, behavior, and mental health (www. nasponline. org/utility/about-nasp). This term, effective, underscores an emphasis on research that has been present since the organization’s earliest days. Indeed, 96% of respondents to a survey of NASP’s first members indicated their interest in having greater access to research from a range of disciplines to inform their practice.
