Description
Current research on workplace psychological aggression is fragmented, with some researchers stressing the importance of studying unique constructs and others emphasizing the similarities among constructs and the need to unify the theory of workplace psychological aggression. This cross-sectional survey study addresses the current gap in research by examining the overlap of commonly studied workplace psychological aggression constructs (i.e., bullying, incivility, and abusive supervision with the supervisor referent removed from the measure) in terms of context and outcomes. Results from this study using a sample of 750 employed workers reveal a similar pattern of relationships between each workplace psychological aggression construct and job related outcomes.
