Анализируется специфика дискурса инструкции к заданиям учебнометодических пособий по иностранному языку для неязыковых вузов. Основной характеристикой данного типа дискурса признается динамика составляющих его содержательных единств – дискурскартин. На основании анализа текстов инструкций двух пособий для журналистов делается вывод о наиболее эффективной модели развития в них образа мира специальности, образа профессионала и образа взаимодействия «студент – преподаватель» = The article considers the distinguishing features of the discourse of instructions in textbooks for teaching English in nonlinguistic HEIs. The main characteristic of this discourse type is recognized to be the dynamics of its constituent contentual entities – so called discourse pictures. Providing the analysis of the instructions for two English textbooks (for journalists) the authors derive an effective model for the development of discursively constructed images of professional world, specialist and interaction between student and educator. This model is argued to be a helpful tool while planning a textbook of English for professionals
