Description
The article is devoted to the place and role of Kazakh culture in the Eurasian civilizational area. The selection of the models of socio-cultural development of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of globalization and localization is considered. Identification of the Kazakh culture is carried out in the context of its interactions with Nomadic, Muslim, Russian, Central Asian and East Asian civilizations. The role of cultural factors in the development of post-Soviet Central Asian new states is analyzed. Globalization gives rise both to the process of unification and the process of diversification. At the same time it contributes to the cultural standardization (McDonaldization) and an increase in the cultural diversity. Global cultural market needs cultural differences, which has always been a headache for nations-states.
