Description
In South Africa, most public sector institutions still employ the human resource management system traditional paperwork. Those who are transitioning from traditional human resource management into e-human resource management are experiencing numerous challenges. The article assesses the officials’ perceptions about the effectiveness of the e-HRM, an innovation within the Department of Employment and Labour that has been using a traditional human resource system for a long time. This study was conducted at the Department of Employment and Labour within the City of Johannesburg. The researchers used a quantitative research approach and obtained the primary data from 93 government officials. A questionnaire was used as a research instrument to collect data.
