Description
Any government's fundamental function and responsibility aside from protecting lives and property is the function of providing effective service delivery through initiating and implementing projects. With the increasing pressure on the government for qualitative project delivery, there is still a knowledge gap on the municipality's responsiveness to service delivery through project implementation. The objectives of the study are to (i) assess the impact of decision-making processes in project initialization,(ii) determine the processes available to manage risks associated with project management, and (iii) evaluate the challenges constraining effective project management as a pathway for sustainable service delivery.
