The objective of this research was to develop an indicator list that is suitable for externality assessment and that can be used by the modelling group of the MEA-Scope project for agricultural policy impact assessments related to multifunctional beef production. The NCOs that mixed farms with cattle as well as arable and grassland production provide will be modelled through the use of indicators. The categories in which these NCOs have been placed are the following: 1 Economic (general, generation of income, rural entrepreneurial activities); 2 Environment (environmental quality,(agro) biodiversity, landscape and land use);
