The present report is a review of the knowledge of the effects of key disturbances on the aquatic invertebrates and fish in the south-west forest region of Western Australia. The aims of the review were to: A) review and collate all available information on the impact of disturbances, including single and multiple disturbance effects, on species and communities of aquatic macroinvertebrates and fish; B) where information is available, describe the recovery of species and communities from the disturbance and identify management actions which will ameliorate the negative impacts of disturbances on species and communities;
