Description
The emergence of technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) has strengthened computational solutions by using powerful algorithms that can support learning behaviors from available data and replicating such behaviors in software. A possible behavior regards the interaction of humans with computers. In this context, Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) promotes the design and evaluation of intuitive and high-usability interactive systems for human users. However, it is not clear yet the convergence between HCI and AI and how such a convergence can improve the computational solutions to benefit the end users despite the many secondary studies regarding HCI and AI available in the technical literature. Therefore, it is necessary to characterize the convergence between HCI and AI revealed in secondary studies, aiming at a better understanding of the challenges and implications of conveying the convergence …
