Reactions are a lziusoriulagiml conception, under which it is possible to group all the phenomena of the living organism, from the simplest to the more complicated forms of human behavior in the conditions of social life. The reactions of man in connection with his social relations acquire a social significance. In this we observe the main distinction between psychology and physiology. The latter also studies the reactions of man, but studies them without any reference to his social relations, while in psychology these relations constitute the principal content of the reactions studied.(Kornilov, 1930, p. 268)
